Dashboards & Reporting

The IER & Data Analytics Office produces dashboards and reports for the CSU community.

What reporting software does CSU use for reporting student data?

CSU uses Argos, a product of Evisions, to report on CSU student data.

How to get login credentials for Argos:

Request a username and password for Argos software by emailing CSU’s ITD department: helpdesk@csu.edu

Where do I log in?

Log in to Argos at https://evprod.csu.edu/ and click the button: "Argos Web Viewer"

What is a dashboard versus report?

  • A dashboard is an interactive tool used to monitor and analyze aggregated data. For example, a user can dynamically observe the number of students enrolled in a given academic program during specific terms.
  • A report is an exportable file (typically .csv) that contains a listing of information (e.g., student IDs and contact information). Learn how to export a report in Argos using this brief how-to guide: click here.

Popular existing dashboards and reports:

Folder: Student Lists

Dashboards and reports:

  • Enrollment by Major and Term: Displays aggregated counts of students enrolled in a given major(s), in a given term(s). Option to download a list of those students.
  • Degrees Earned by Major and Term: Displays aggregated counts of students who earned a degree from a given major(s) during a given term(s). Option to download a list of those students.
  • Persistence: Re-Enrollment Rate and Stop-Outs List by Major: For a given major, displays persistence rate from Term 1 to Term 2, and the number of students who stopped out/have not yet enrolled. Option to download a list of students who stopped out, typically used for student outreach.
