Master of Fine Arts (M. F. A.) in Creative Writing
The M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Chicago State University is the only M.F. A. program
at a Predominately Black Institution (PBI) or Historically Black College or University
(HBCU) in the country. African American literature is not just an add-on at CSU. It’s
woven into the fabric of the curriculum.
