Student Opportunities

The Art & Design Department prepares students for positive engagement, involvement, and leadership in society and the community. The Department and CSU offer many exciting opportunities for student involvement, encouraging collaboration, community, leadership, respect, and ethical behavior. Participation in student groups and campus activities build professional experience and creates lifetime friendships.

"Opportunities I was able to obtain during an undergrad at CSU ranged from interning with an internationally acclaimed graffiti artist to being selected for the inaugural cohort of the Art Insitute of Chicago's Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellowship. These invitations to see how the art world works connected me to networks in Chicago that I continue to foster."
